There are many different types of packaging. One of these areas is called flexible packaging. This packaging is a laminate which consists of at least two substrates. In lamination processes, 1- or 2-component adhesive systems must be metered with high accuracy and stable mixing ratios. The laminated product can be found in retail packaging such as for food, hygiene products, pet food, do-it-yourself products, toys, cleaning- and pharmaceutical products. Also part of packaging sector is metal packaging, in which lids with PVC or polyurethane sealing are used to close and seal the metal containers.
